Welcome to the enterprise setup overview. In this video, you will learn how to navigate our enterprise setup.
0:07
7 seconds
From the main page, you will see an overview of the households and the members using the software. To add a new member, the first step is to add a team.
0:18
18 seconds
Each member is associated with the team.
0:21
21 seconds
So to add a new team, click in the far right corner, add the team name.
0:29
29 seconds
And from here you can add members. But first we create the team name. And then the second step is to go add the member.
0:38
38 seconds
The team should be created first. So you'll see when we start to add a member
0:48
48 seconds
first we create their role and then pick from the product or the license. If you have a number of them you would differentiate there and then select the
0:57
57 seconds
team that you created. So it's important to add the team first and then add the user and send the invite. You can do
1:04
1 minute, 4 seconds
multiple or add multiple users in one setting from here. If you have a member who you are adding and the team already
1:13
1 minute, 13 seconds
exists, you can simply go to add member first and do so from this screen.
1:20
1 minute, 20 seconds
You could also have someone who is a member of multiple teams and select multiple teams from there.
1:28
1 minute, 28 seconds
Next, we'll go over settings. So, as the firm admin, your default will be here in the top right hand corner as firm.
1:37
1 minute, 37 seconds
To view the view of what other teams are seeing, you can easily click on the team name. But going to the households,
1:45
1 minute, 45 seconds
you'll see all the households associated with this team.
1:49
1 minute, 49 seconds
And if you want to create a household on behalf of that team or those members,
1:54
1 minute, 54 seconds
you would just be in this team section and then create a household from there.
2:00
2 minutes
As a firm admin, you can navigate all of these teams and create households. Um,
2:05
2 minutes, 5 seconds
as a an advisor on this, they would only be able to see and share the households within their own individual team. Uh,
2:14
2 minutes, 14 seconds
one thing to note when it comes to moving households, all the households are always associated with the team. So,
2:20
2 minutes, 20 seconds
let's go back to our main view of seeing our firm overview. And if we go to the households here, for us to move a few
2:28
2 minutes, 28 seconds
households, let's say we're going to move these households, we would do a bulk relocate and be able to move those
2:35
2 minutes, 35 seconds
households to a different team in the account.
2:42
2 minutes, 42 seconds
That's how you can quickly move households from one team to the other.
2:48
2 minutes, 48 seconds
There are additional settings for default values, capital market assumptions, taxes,
2:53
2 minutes, 53 seconds
model allocations, and customization settings for logos, and disclosures. All of these when you're in the firm setting will be applied to the firm.
3:06
3 minutes, 6 seconds
If you want to see the view from a team page, again anytime you move to a different team up here in the top lefthand corner, you will view it as if they are.
3:17
3 minutes, 17 seconds
Reports can be built and shared throughout the different teams. When we create a report, we would build it from
3:25
3 minutes, 25 seconds
here within the team and have that report available.
3:34
3 minutes, 34 seconds
Next we have more defined roles. Up in the top right hand corner of this building is the company building. This
3:41
3 minutes, 41 seconds
is going to be the company main company settings with the account information billing and management and payment.
3:49
3 minutes, 49 seconds
You'll see the additional invoices here where you can download them and access them. See the account number and the payment method listed.
4:00
4 minutes
We also have standard roles, firm,
4:02
4 minutes, 2 seconds
admin, and advisor. But if you wanted to create something more like a centralized planning team role or a sales team role,
4:09
4 minutes, 9 seconds
you would add do create new role. And we'll start with a base role of a firm admin or an advisor. And the settings
4:17
4 minutes, 17 seconds
will be different for each of those. but with the base role. An example is if we want to have a sales team member
4:26
4 minutes, 26 seconds
and we want to give them the ability to create households but not add or remove team members or edit any CMAs.
4:34
4 minutes, 34 seconds
So we change that uh those settings and now we save that as a role available
4:41
4 minutes, 41 seconds
that can be assigned to the members when you add them.
4:46
4 minutes, 46 seconds
Integrations can be added for the firm as well. So in this example, we have a red tail integration.
4:53
4 minutes, 53 seconds
Once we add the credentials over here on the far right hand corner, this is the most important step is to edit
5:01
5 minutes, 1 second
permissions. Once the integration has been added, it is important to make sure that that integration is actually turned
5:09
5 minutes, 9 seconds
on for the teams. So until this is turned on, the team will not have access to the integration.
5:16
5 minutes, 16 seconds
So once the integration is added, the next step is to come to edit permissions and turn on the permission for the teams
5:23
5 minutes, 23 seconds
that you want access to that integration.
5:27
5 minutes, 27 seconds
One thing to note, if you are an advisor building this out, going to your integrations, when you add an
5:35
5 minutes, 35 seconds
integration and this is your own individual integration before the integration will show up, it also needs to be turned on
5:44
5 minutes, 44 seconds
for your group. An advisor can turn that on for their group individually.
5:50
5 minutes, 50 seconds
So we went over the lefthand navigation settings here from adding house adding and moving households adding members
5:58
5 minutes, 58 seconds
building teams creating reports and updating our settings to the integrations over here
6:06
6 minutes, 6 seconds
in the main profile to setting up custom roles and billing over here under the company information
6:13
6 minutes, 13 seconds
and then being able to navigate through different views of different teams.
6:19
6 minutes, 19 seconds
Going to the disclosures and logos. If you go to settings and customization settings, this is where you'll add the logos and particular disclosures.
6:30
6 minutes, 30 seconds
Reports are listed here as well where you can have different reports and have these templates available for the teams.
6:39
6 minutes, 39 seconds
When it comes to removing team members,
6:42
6 minutes, 42 seconds
let's say we were going to remove a team member,
6:47
6 minutes, 47 seconds
we go over to the team member's name and edit or disable or delete. Any
6:56
6 minutes, 56 seconds
households that are assigned to this team member will remain in the team account for other folks to be assigned
7:04
7 minutes, 4 seconds
to. So once households are created, they remain in the team page. If we are to remove a member, the households remain with the team.
