Pershing - How to Integrate

This article will walk through how to set up the Income Lab integration with Pershing.

Step 1: Initiate the Integration

  1. Select your profile in the top right side of the screen, then click Integrations.

 

  1. Click Add Integration.

 

  1. Select Pershing from the window, then click Link.

 

  1. Carefully read the integration instructions, then click Start Integration Nww.

 

  1. For Pershing custodian, there are two methods to submit your request:

1. Pershing Advisor Solution

This is the most common ROI method used by clients and is applicable to Pershing Advisor Solutions (PAS) only. This requires a simple email from the Advisor/Data Authorizer to Pershing at [email protected]

Here is an email template that you may use: 

Hi Pershing Team,

I'd like to initiate an ROI data feed authorization for Bridge Financial Technology to gain access to my accounts data and Advisor Codes via a direct feed integration with BridgeFT. This includes any client and custodian portals that assist in data feed management and also all files that may be referenced as source material for troubleshooting.

My advisor code(s) with your platform are as follows: [add advisor code here]

Please reply and provide confirmation of receipt. For additional information or questions please reach out to [advisor email].

 
 

2. Pershing, LLC / Pershing BNY Mellon

This ROI request is through Pershing BNY Mellon and is less common but required if there is a Broker Dealer involved. In this case, Pershing requires a form to be completed by the BridgeFT team. Please note that BridgeFT will need client details such as firm name, account estimates, etc. in order to complete the form. 

First, send an email to our Integrations Support Team at [email protected] to provide the full name of the firm/client requesting this ROI. Our team will start the form and return it to you as soon as possible. If you're able to provide an estimate for the number of accounts that you expect will be flowing through this connection, please include that information in your email.

 
 

 

  1. Once your request has been processed, the BridgeFT team will complete the configuration and the Income Lab team will finalize the integration on the backend. 

 


 

Step 2: Activate your Integration

  1. In your Integrations settings, click Check Status to update your integration status from Pending to Active.

 


 

Step 3: Add Linked Accounts

  1. Once the integration is active, go to your Households page and select a household.

 

  1. Edit the household by clicking the pencil icon on the top right of your Dashboard.

 

  1. On the Assets page, click Add Linked Accounts.

 

  1. On the left side, select the custodian in the Source field, use the search bar to find your household, use the drop-down menu to open and show all accounts, then select the accounts you would like to link to Income Lab. Then click Save to finish.

 

You will now see the accounts linked under the assets list. The linked accounts will be indicated by a small icon based on the custodian.
